Sydney: Top Ten Cafes on the Water

The hot weather of a Sydney summer is upon us so getting to the beach is a pretty big priority for parents. Here are our top ten kid friendly Sydney cafes to enjoy whilst you are cooling off.

1. Little Manly Beach Kiosk, Manly

Little Manly Beach is a destination in itself for families. It is a protected cove with no waves, glistening white sand, amazing city views and lawn for running. The Kiosk makes it the perfect day out as you can enjoy everything the beach has to offer with great coffee and food. When the sun is shining, the place is busy but still not as busy as the main Manly beach.

Look no further mums and dads, grandparents and carers alike, Little Eats has found Sydney’s best babycino right on The Grand Parade in Brighton-Le-Sands! Sorelle’s Baby Cino Grande is quite possibly the cutest thing I have ever seen! It truly is a work of art!

 3. Coogee Pavilion, Coogee

Coogee Pavilion is an iconic Sydney landmark overlooking Coogee Beach and caters for all walks of life, from hipster to families. It is also known as Shark Beach but don’t be alarmed as they have protective netting around the beach to protect swimmers. Families tend to congregate in the back courtyard which features a little toy corner, perfect for toddlers and young children.

The Boatshed Cafe is located on the beautiful shore of Narrabeen lake. Narrabeen Lake offers plenty of water sports for the family to enjoy. Parents with prams have the option of sitting outside downstairs or taking the lift at the rear up to the main cafe. The staff were really friendly and accommodating and the cafe has a fun and welcoming vibe.

Plonk Beach Cafe is a fantastic dining option for families. Parents can enjoy their delicious food and great coffee whilst little ones play on the beach in front of the restaurant. Plonk offers casual alfresco dining in a spectacular location. The view of the glistening water and boats would be perfect to show off to visitors.
